CAIRO, 19th July, 2023 (WAM) — His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, met with Mariam Khalifa Al Kaabi, UAE Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative of the UAE to the League of Arab States, and emphasiSed the depth and strength of relations between the UAE and Al-Azhar. His Eminence Dr. Al Tayeb reaffirmed Al-Azhar’s pride in its relationship with the UAE and its leadership under President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He also commended the UAE’s pioneering role in spreading the values of human fraternity and coexistence. For her part, Al Kaabi expressed the UAE’s appreciation for the contributions of the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar in strengthening human fraternity and promoting moderation and tolerance. Khoder Nashar
