Hamdan bin Zayed Reviews Infrastructure Projects with Abu Dhabi Ports Delegation

Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region, engaged in discussions with a delegation from AD Ports Group at Al Nakheel Palace in Abu Dhabi. The delegation, led by Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Managing Director and Group CEO, provided updates on ongoing infrastructure projects as part of initiatives to drive sustainable growth in Al Dhafra.

According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Hamdan received briefings on the latest developments concerning AD Ports Group's projects aimed at enhancing marine infrastructure and cruise ship facilities on Sir Bani Yas Island. He emphasized the significance of these infrastructure projects in fostering an integrated development environment that contributes to improving the quality of life for residents in Abu Dhabi. These initiatives align with the emirate's sustainable development goals, particularly in Al Dhafra, and are supported by directives from President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Sheikh Hamdan highlighted efforts to increase Sir Bani Yas Island's infrastructure capacity, aiming to attract more visitors and elevate the island's status as a premier destination for luxury yachts and cruise ships. This move is intended to solidify Abu Dhabi's reputation as a leading global maritime hub.
