WETEX Set to Launch with Participation of Over 3,000 Exhibitors

Dubai: Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, the 27th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) is set to kick off tomorrow. Organised by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), the event will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre and run from 30th September to 2nd October 2025.

According to Emirates News Agency, WETEX is one of the world's largest specialised exhibitions and the region's leading platform for showcasing innovation in various sectors such as energy, water, sustainability, decarbonisation, green mobility, green hydrogen, sustainable cities, green buildings, digital transformation, cyber security, and artificial intelligence. This year, 3,100 companies from 68 countries will participate, presenting their latest technologies, innovations, and projects over an area of 95,000 square metres.

The exhibition will feature 18 international pavilions and include zones dedicated to specific themes such as the Green Mobility Zone, the Health and Safety Hub, and the Delegation Zone. These are designed to enhance communication and cooperation between local and international companies and major government entities in the UAE and the GCC.

Additionally, WETEX will facilitate numerous meetings between companies, government bodies, private institutions, and investors through its business-to-business and business-to-government platforms. DEWA is also organising over 135 specialised seminars and discussion sessions, with participation from experts and specialists worldwide.

Exhibitors will have the opportunity to tour DEWA's Sustainability and Innovation Centre located at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, providing further engagement with cutting-edge sustainability and innovation practices.
