Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Ain Region, has visited the 22nd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX). The event, organized by ADNEC Group in collaboration with the Emirates Falconers' Club, is being held at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi until 7 September 2025, under the theme ''The Legacy Lives On.''
According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Hazza toured various national, regional, and international pavilions, learning about products and innovations in hunting, equestrianism, and camping. He explored sections focused on handicrafts, traditional industries, folk arts, and cultural heritage, recognizing efforts by participating entities to preserve the UAE's rich cultural legacy for future generations.
Sheikh Hazza emphasized ADIHEX's significance as an international platform for companies and institutions in hunting, equestrian sports, and outdoor activities to exhibit their latest innovations. He highlighted the event's contribution to promoting traditional crafts and folk arts, preserving Emirati customs, and enhancing their community presence, aligning with the Year of Community initiative launched by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to reinforce national identity and social cohesion.
Sheikh Hazza commended the efforts of the exhibition's organizers and participants in educating younger generations about the UAE's cultural heritage. He acknowledged the exhibition's role in attracting hunting, equestrianism, and camping enthusiasts to the capital, reinforcing Abu Dhabi's position as a leading destination for heritage and cultural tradition preservation.
He was accompanied by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Faris Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, and Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC, along with senior officials.
The 22nd edition of ADIHEX marks the largest since its inception in 2003, offering a global platform to explore innovations across 15 areas, including hunting, equestrianism, camels, saluki dogs, and traditional crafts, alongside live and interactive heritage shows. This year's event features over 2,000 exhibitors and brands from 68 countries, establishing its status as a primary destination for hunting, equestrian sports, and cultural heritage preservation enthusiasts.
