Holy Quran Academy Explores Partnership with Grand Mufti of Poland


Sharjah: The Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah engaged in discussions aimed at enhancing cooperation in the service of the Holy Qur’an and its sciences with Tomasz Miskiewicz, the Grand Mufti of the Republic of Poland and head of the Supreme Council of the Islamic Religious Union. The meeting took place during the Grand Mufti’s visit to the Holy Quran Complex, where he was welcomed by Dr. Abdullah Khalaf Al Hosani, the Secretary-General of the complex.



According to Emirates News Agency, the Grand Mufti of Poland examined the complex’s role and strategy in promoting the Holy Qur’an, its sciences, and related notable figures and scientific projects. The discussions also covered the Quranic museums, which highlight the Quranic legacy and the history of writing the Holy Qur’an, as well as the Sharjah Global Electronic Quran Academy, which is an educational initiative reaching 172 countries worldwide.



Dr. Abdullah AlHosani expressed his pleasure at hosting Tomasz Miskiewicz, noting that the visit paves the way for collaborative efforts in promoting the Book of God and its knowledge heritage. The Grand Mufti of Poland conveyed his gratitude to H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his continuous support of this global Quranic initiative, which not only serves the Book of God but also promotes Islamic culture and the Arabic language.



The Grand Mufti emphasized the significance of comprehensive cooperation between the Supreme Council of the Islamic Religious Union in Poland and the Holy Quran Academy, aiming to introduce Islam and the Holy Qur’an and its sciences globally. As a gesture of goodwill, the Grand Mufti presented the complex with a copy of the Quran featuring translated meanings in Polish.
