The Lower House Palestine Committee congratulated steadfast Palestinian people for defeating Israeli occupation forces during an epic 48- hour battle to face the most brutal “racist fascist” oppression machine. The committee said Palestinians stopped the occupation’s efforts to achieving its goals, aimed to arrest or assassinate any leader or fighter affiliated with armed Palestinian resistance. In a statement on Thursday, the committee’s head, MP Fayez Basbous, touched on failure of Zionist aggression against city of Jenin and its camp, which killed 12 civilians, including 4 children. He added the committee salutes and supports Palestinian people , city of Jenin, and brave men of its camp for this “unprecedented achievement, which thwarted the plot to end Palestinian national project and consolidated Palestinian resistance identity.”
