IRAN URGES U.S. TO STOP “ILLEGAL” PRESENCE IN SYRIA

TEHRAN, Iran, Iran's Foreign Ministry, on Monday, urged the United States, to stop its "illegal" presence in Syria.

"In defiance of the international regulations, and without the Syrian government's permission," the United States has deployed its forces to the Arab country, the ministry spokesman, Bahram Qasemi, said, in his weekly press conference.

"Given the U.S. expansionist policies, every measure of the Americans in Syria, will result in instability and insecurity in the country, and will help terrorists," Qasemi added.

"The United States should stop every measure inside the Syrian territory, at the earliest, and refrain from interfering in the affairs of the country," he concluded.
