The attack was carried out at 2:10 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Islamic Resistance issued a statement indicating that the attack was also in defense of Lebanon and its people. The group emphasized its commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause and highlighted its intent to protect Lebanese sovereignty.
