Abu dhabi: The ninth and largest edition of the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR 2026) concluded in Abu Dhabi under the patronage of Lieutenant General H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. This edition reaffirmed the exhibition's status as a leading global platform for fostering international cooperation and showcasing the latest innovations and technologies in vital security sectors.
According to Emirates News Agency, the event was organized by ADNEC Group, a Modon company, in association with the Ministry of Interior and in strategic partnership with the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ. The theme for ISNR 2026 was 'Securing Tomorrow Today,' and it welcomed over 37,434 visitors over the three-day event, marking a 49% increase compared to the 2024 edition.
Major General Dr. Ahmed Naser Al Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee of ISNR 2026, emphasized the UAE's commitment to international security and peace. He highlighted the exceptional success of this edition, which brought together industry leaders, experts, and decision-makers to discuss pressing global challenges. The event reflected the UAE's leadership in adopting advanced technologies and its dedication to developing smarter, more sustainable, and resilient security systems.
Humaid Al Dhaheri, Group CEO of ADNEC Group, noted the impressive scale, participation, and impact of the event. He acknowledged the remarkable engagement from leading companies and industry leaders, as well as strong attendance from decision-makers and experts. He credited the success to the vision and guidance of the UAE's leadership and reiterated ADNEC Group's commitment to developing international platforms that align with the UAE's vision of a diversified, knowledge-based economy driven by innovation and advanced technologies.
The 2026 edition saw a 19% increase in exhibitors, with 253 companies participating. National companies accounted for 60% of the exhibitors, while international companies made up 40%. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) represented 20% of the participants, underscoring the exhibition's support for this sector. The exhibition featured participation from 37 countries, with nine joining for the first time, enhancing ISNR's status as a global platform for innovation and collaboration in national security.
New initiatives enriched this year's edition, including the inaugural Abu Dhabi Global Summit for Sustainable Security. Organized by the Ministry of Interior and Rabdan Academy in collaboration with ADNEC Group, the summit served as a global platform to discuss future security, institutional readiness, and national resilience. Over 2,000 participants from 15 countries attended, with more than 60 speakers featured across workshops, roundtables, resilience sessions, and panel discussions.
The AI Security Forum explored the role of artificial intelligence in national security frameworks, focusing on AI-powered solutions in sectors such as energy, smart cities, transportation, and infrastructure.
The ISNR Fitness Competition, organized by ADNEC Group and OXYGEN in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, concluded successfully. The competition featured 355 participants in categories like Civil Defence and Community, showcasing physical abilities and teamwork.
The Code Breaker Hackathon provided a simulation of digital attack scenarios, offering participants hands-on experience in vulnerability analysis and cybersecurity challenges.
The International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience 2026 has served as a pivotal platform for driving innovation and advancing solutions in national security. The 10th edition of ISNR is scheduled for 4 to 6 April 2028, promising to build on this legacy.
