Ali Da’na, 43, a Palestinian prisoner from occupied Jerusalem who was supposed to be released today after the end of his 20-year sentence in Israeli prisons, was not let out of prison today by the Israeli occupation authorities, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Siety (PPS). Instead of letting him out at the end of his prison sentence, Israeli occupation authorities re-arrested Da’na shortly after he was released from the Israeli prison of Naqab. It is not clear now whether Da’na is being briefly detained by the Israeli occupation authorities or was sent back to prison once again. The Israeli occupation authorities are still incarcerating more than 4,500 Palestinian and Arab prisoners for resisting its occupation of their homeland.
