NABATIEH: In a recent escalation of violence, Israeli airstrikes have resulted in the deaths of four individuals and left several others injured in southern Lebanon, specifically in the town of Nabatieh. According to Jordan News Agency, the airstrikes that occurred on Tuesday evening have not only claimed lives but also caused considerable injury and destruction. The Lebanese security sources reported to Petra's correspondent in Beirut that the aftermath of the attack is grim, with two individuals still trapped under rubble, their conditions unknown. Additionally, in the town of Qana, part of the Tyre district, six people were injured and have since been transported to hospitals by civil defense teams. The Lebanese Ministry of Health, in a statement released Tuesday evening, provided a broader picture of the ongoing conflict's toll. It confirmed that the airstrikes on Tuesday alone resulted in 41 fatalities and 106 injuries. The cumulative statistics are even more alarming, with the total number of fataliti es since the beginning of the hostilities reaching 2,350, alongside 10,906 injuries.
