AMMAN: The United Nations human rights office has called for an immediate independent investigation into an Israeli airstrike that destroyed a residential building in northern Lebanon, resulting in the deaths of 22 civilians, including women and children. According to Jordan News Agency, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) expressed deep concerns about the legality of the airstrike under international humanitarian law.
