NABLUS: Israeli colonists erected six mobile homes this morning, establishing a new colonial outpost built south of the village of Al-Luban Al-Sharkiya, located south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

Yaqoub Oweis, head of the Al-Luban Al-Sharkiya council, reported to the WAFA that a number of colonists installed six caravans south of the village, and began gathering around them.

Oweis added that the colonists had established a similar outpost last year, which was later removed.

He also noted that late last night, Israeli occupation forces closed one of the entrances to the village with earth mounds, effectively shutting all the main entrances to the village.

Additionally, it was reported that yesterday evening that an Israeli colonist ran over a resident of the village on the main Nablus-Ramallah road outside the village. There was also an attempt by a group of colonists to attack the homes of residents there.
