Israeli occupation forces Wednesday detained the principle and teachers of Shaab al-Batm Mixed Basic School at the entrance to the village of al-Tuwanah in Masafer Yatta, south of the occupied West Bank city of Hebron. WAFA correspondent said that the occupation forces detained, for an hour and a half, the principle of Shaab al-Batm Mixed Basic School, Arif Abu Karsh, and a number of school teachers at a military checkpoint they set up at the entrance to the village of al-Tuwanah, east of Yatta, and inspected their vehicles and checked their ID cards. It is noteworthy that Shaab Al-Batm Mixed Basic School is attended by more than 50 students. Israeli occupation authorities had notified of the school’s demolition in early August, last year. Two days ago, the occupation forces obstructed teachers and students on their way to 27 schools east of Yatta, south of Hebron.
