Istanbul to Host Second Sharjah Award in Public Finance Forum in June

Abu dhabi: The Sharjah Award in Public Finance, in association with the Arab Administrative Development Organisation (ARADO) of the League of Arab States, is organizing the second edition of the Public Finance Forum on 10-11 June 2026 in Istanbul, Republic of Trkiye. The forum will operate under the theme 'Public Finance in the Face of Global Crises: Strategic Visions - Present Challenges - Future Prospects.'

According to Emirates News Agency, the event will gather a distinguished group of decision-makers, experts, and specialists in public finance and economics from across the Arab world. Attendees will include ministers of finance, senior government officials, economic and financial policymakers, representatives of Arab, regional, and international financial institutions, as well as academics, researchers, private-sector representatives, banking professionals, and think tank members.

The forum is part of ongoing efforts to bolster Arab dialogue on public finance issues amid rapidly changing global economic conditions. It aims to contribute to developing effective public finance policies that balance financial stability with sustainable development goals.

The event is designed to enhance the efficiency and resilience of public finance policies across Arab nations in addressing global crises.
