AMMAN: Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has issued a condemnation of recent Israeli airstrikes on Iranian territory, describing the actions as a breach of international law and a violation of Iran's sovereignty. The ministry characterized the airstrikes as a dangerous escalation that could further fuel tensions in the region. According to Jordan News Agency, Dr. Sufian Qudah, the ministry's official spokesperson, emphasized Jordan's strong rejection of what it termed as a dangerous escalation in the region. Qudah warned that such actions could lead to a conflict threatening both regional stability and international security. The statement further urged the international community to take immediate action to stop Israeli aggression not only in Iran but also in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon. This call for intervention was presented as a necessary first step towards de-escalation. Qudah highlighted the importance of halting Israeli violations of international law and United Nations reso lutions to protect the security and stability of the region from the potential disastrous consequences of continued Israeli attacks.
