The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has strongly condemned the recent Israeli massacre in the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, which resulted in hundreds of civilian casualties. The Ministry also expressed its condemnation of the ongoing Israeli escalation in the occupied West Bank and the increasing acts of terrorism by colonial Israeli settlers against Palestinian citizens. Sufian Al-Qudah, the official spokesperson for the Ministry, affirmed Jordan’s rejection and condemnation of these Israeli actions, emphasizing that they go against all human and ethical values and violate the rules of international humanitarian law, particularly the Fourth Geneva Convention. Jordan also urged the international community to assume its responsibility and deter Israel from committing further crimes against civilians and to put an end to its senseless war on the Gaza Strip. The Ministry emphasized the importance of adhering to the United Nations General Assembly’s resolution on the protection of civilians and the respect for international law and humanitarian law. It also stressed the necessity of providing international protection for the Palestinian people and the importance of collective efforts to halt the escalating war in Gaza.
