Minister of Water Mohamed Najjar, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Kharabsheh, and Minister of Environment Muawiya Radaydah are slated to meet the UAE’s Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and special envoy for climate change Sultan Al Jaber. The discussions will also touch on the UAE’s preparations for hosting the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) during November and December of 2023. The visit includes a tripartite meeting that brings together Al Jaber and the Israeli minister of energy to tackle the Prosperity Blue and Prosperity Green projects and a declaration of intent signed by the three parties and the United States in 2021.
