Lower House Speaker Ahmed Safadi and an accompanying parliamentary delegation Tuesday concluded an official visit to Saudi Arabia with a meeting with Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman. Salman emphasized the deep-rooted relations between Jordan and Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the need to further enhance cooperation in the energy sector. Safadi expressed Jordan’s commitment to boosting cooperation with Saudi Arabia, adding that the two countries see eye-to-eye on many regional issues, according to a lower house statement. The Lower House Chief emphasized the importance of enhancing collaboration in the energy sector, and voiced his gratitude to Riyadh for its aid to Jordan in a host of sectors. During his three-day visit, Safadi held talks with Speaker of the Saudi Shura Council Abdullah Al Sheikh and Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Abdulrahman Al-Fadli, as well as officials of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce.
