M42 Unveils M42 Saudi Arabia to Boost Vision 2030 Healthcare Agenda

Riyadh: M42, a leader in global health powered by artificial intelligence, technology, and genomics, has announced the official incorporation of M42 Saudi Arabia. This move signifies a new phase in its collaboration with the Kingdom, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 healthcare transformation goals.

According to Emirates News Agency, the announcement was made at the Global Health Exhibition in Riyadh, highlighting M42’s commitment to advancing healthcare in the Kingdom. Over the past 12 years, M42 has maintained a reliable partnership with the Saudi Ministry of Health by operating more than 40 Diaverum clinics across 33 cities, including Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, and Madinah. The establishment of M42 Saudi Arabia marks the evolution of this partnership.

M42 Saudi Arabia aims to continue providing renal care through its Diaverum clinics while exploring partnerships in advanced patient care, multi-omics, and population health programs. These programs will focus on metabolic and lifestyle disease management and digital integration. The launch also reflects M42’s ambition to support the Kingdom’s shift towards a future-ready, sustainable health system, emphasizing precision, preventive, and predictive care in line with Vision 2030.

The incorporation of M42 Saudi Arabia will enable the development of local specialty care services, partnerships on omics and population health initiatives, and the scaling of digital health solutions. It also supports Saudi Arabia’s goals for leadership in clinical trials and research and development, facilitating new Saudi-led pilot programs and collaborations with government and private health institutions.

Dimitris Moulavasilis, Group CEO at M42, emphasized the importance of Saudi Arabia as a partner in the Middle East and North Africa region’s healthcare transformation. He stated that the incorporation of M42 Saudi Arabia is a strategic step towards building a globally scaled health intelligence ecosystem. Ziyad Kabli, Chief Operating Officer, Middle East and Asia at M42, highlighted that their decade-long work in Saudi Arabia has focused on high-quality renal care, and the new launch extends their collaboration to broader system-wide health initiatives.

This ambition in Saudi Arabia follows M42’s expanding presence in the Middle East. The company recently launched the region’s first virtual hospital, the Digital Health Centre, in Jordan. In Bahrain, M42 is set to provide long-term care and post-acute rehabilitation services in partnership with Mumtalakat through Amana Healthcare.
