Mansoor bin Mohammed Attends Dubai Muscle Show and Related Events


Dubai: H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE National Olympic Committee and Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, attended the ninth edition of Dubai Muscle Show, Dubai Active, and Dubai Active Industry.



According to Emirates News Agency, the high-profile event was organised by the Italian Exhibition Group Middle East (IEG Middle East) in partnership with the Dubai Sports Council and held at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai from 24-26 October. The event featured hundreds of fitness brands, bodybuilding legends, and sports and wellness forums, attracting over 40,000 visitors.



The exhibition covered 35,000 square metres and showcased over 400 companies representing international brands in sports equipment, nutritional supplements, fitness, and bodybuilding. H.H. Sheikh Mansoor toured various pavilions accompanied by key figures such as Khalfan Belhoul, Saeed Hareb, Mahir Julfar, Francesco Santa, and Rachel Chatham, learning about the latest innovations in fitness and bodybuilding.



Sheikh Mansoor also attended the Amateur Bodybuilding Championship, where over 2,000 athletes competed for 17 professional cards from the International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation (IFBB). He commended the organisers and the Dubai Sports Council for their support of sporting events, highlighting the role of public-private partnerships in promoting sports and boosting the local economy.



The event featured top bodybuilding stars, including Chris Bumstead, Ryan Terry, Big Ramy, and others, who shared their training insights. Dubai Active Industry gathered officials and innovators to explore fitness sector growth opportunities. A highlight was the launch of the UAE Health and Fitness Industry Report, providing comprehensive analysis of brand performance and consumer trends.



The CEO Forum included speakers like Eisa Sharif Al Marzouqi, Naif Al Dossary, Mark Buchanan, and others, discussing ways to advance the fitness industry through collaboration and innovation. The Summit Series included the Future Wellness Summit, XPRO Summit, ICREPS Global Standards Summit, and MENA Roundtable, focusing on advancements in wellness solutions.



Dubai Active hosted international fitness figures like Kayla Itsines, Leana Deeb, James Smith, and Bradley Simmonds, offering live workouts and motivational talks. The event also featured the ‘HYROX 365 Challenge’ and the Future Champions Combat Arena, showcasing emerging combat sports talents.
