Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE National Olympic Committee, graced the graduation ceremony of the 2025 cohort at the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) – Dubai Campuses. During the event, Sheikh Mansoor honored 62 outstanding students from a total of 602 graduates who achieved Distinction or Distinction with Honors.
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Mansoor praised the leadership of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, emphasizing the importance of investing in youth as a cornerstone for the UAE’s future development. He highlighted the role of the Higher Colleges of Technology in nurturing talented youth, thereby contributing to the UAE’s global standing and national aspirations.
The ceremony, themed ‘HCTians Go Beyond’, was held at the Grand Hyatt Dubai and saw the attendance of prominent figures including Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports and HCT Chancellor, and Dr. Faisal Alayyan, HCT President and CEO. Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi expressed appreciation for Sheikh Mansoor’s support and congratulated the graduates for their exceptional achievements.
Dr. Al Falasi emphasized the significance of empowering youth with future skills and applied knowledge, which aligns with the UAE’s vision of a diversified and sustainable economy. He reiterated HCT’s commitment to producing graduates who embody the spirit of ambition and creativity.
Dr. Faisal Alayyan extended gratitude to the UAE’s leadership for their unwavering support and highlighted HCT’s strategic vision to lead in applied sciences. He announced the graduation of 602 students across various disciplines, noting their successful completion of studies with merit.
Graduate Saeed Abdullah Al Saadi, speaking on behalf of his peers, expressed gratitude to the UAE leadership and HCT faculty for their support and guidance, acknowledging the vital role of education in empowering the nation’s youth.
