Mansoor bin Mohammed Highlights Innovations at 11th Dubai Helishow

DUBAI: H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council, attended the 11th edition of the Dubai Helishow, a significant event for the Middle East and North Africa regions, dedicated to helicopter, Vertical Take-off and Landing (VTOL), and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technologies. The event, which commenced on October 22nd at Skydive Dubai, will run until October 24th, featuring participation from 50 key industry players. According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Mansoor toured various pavilions showcasing both local and international companies, where he observed the latest advancements in VTOL aircraft, UAV, and helicopter technologies. He praised the organization of the exhibition and emphasized its critical role in highlighting the future of the drone, vertical flight, and helicopter industries. The event provides a platform for industry experts, military personnel, innovators, and business leaders to exchange insights and expertise while ex ploring emerging trends in the region's vertical flight market. During his visit, Sheikh Mansoor also stopped by the Dubai Police pavilion, where he received a briefing on the 'Drone Box' drone platform and the 'DJI Dock 2' system. These strategic projects by Dubai Police are designed to enhance various police and security operations. Additionally, Sheikh Mansoor visited the pavilions of Ridan Aviation Academy, Falcon Aviation, ELA Aviation, Airbus, and FlightWin. In conjunction with the exhibition, the Dubai Helicopter Conference 2024 is hosting a series of sessions featuring leading industry experts. These discussions focus on sharing knowledge and gaining new perspectives on future trends, particularly advancements in hybrid and electric helicopters, AI integration, and civil aviation.
