Moscow, Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Dr. Faysal Mikdad discussed on Friday with Russian President’s Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, development of the situations in Syria and the efforts made to reinforce security and satiability. The two sides expressed their satisfaction with the success of the International Conference on the return of refugees held in Damascus last November and the importance of continuing efforts to facilitate the voluntary return of refugees and put an end to the politicization of the humanitarian situation practiced by western countries to serve its agendas in Syria.
They also reviewed developments of political process as it was emphasized that this process should be led and possessed by Syria and among the Syrians without any external interference in its work or its results. It was agreed to follow up the coordination and consultation between the two friendly countries in this field.
