Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities Board Implements New Strategies for Academic Excellence


ABU DHABI: The Board of Trustees of Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities, led by Dr. Mohamed Rashed Al Hameli, has adopted several new policies and amendments to bolster the university’s academic and operational framework.

According to Emirates News Agency, the Board’s third meeting of the year focused on enhancing various aspects of the university’s structure and operations. Key issues addressed included the strategic plan and key performance indicators for the year’s third quarter, with an emphasis on the goals and priorities already achieved.

The meeting also entailed a thorough review of the academic accreditation and compliance report. Discussions extended to the financial report for the same period, evaluating the financial performance and discussing ways to optimize the use of financial resources to align with strategic goals.

Further, the Board assessed updates on academic programs and future projects, aiming to boost operational efficiencies and develop the technical infrastructure necessar
y for academic innovation and institutional excellence.

Dr. Al Hameli highlighted the Board’s commitment to comprehensive work plans and future academic visions that support the UAE’s strategy to enhance higher education. The Board’s recent decisions are intended to support the university’s ambitions to expand its influence in the field of humanities, both locally and internationally, and to enhance knowledge and scientific research.

He also noted the university’s ongoing efforts to advance its scientific and academic visions in human and social studies, with periodic updates to academic programs to add new dimensions to the educational journey in the UAE.
