Nahyan bin Mubarak Attends BAPS Hindu Mandir’s Second Anniversary Celebration

Abu dhabi: Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, participated in the celebration of the second anniversary of the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi, marking a significant milestone in spiritual service and cultural harmony in the UAE.

According to Emirates News Agency, the event was attended by senior officials, ambassadors, and community representatives, bringing together more than 8,000 worshippers and over 1,500 participants in the 'Mandir Dialogues at Two' forum. The celebration underscored the Mandir's role as a center for spiritual and cultural enrichment, promoting the values of coexistence and tolerance championed by the UAE.

Sheikh Nahyan delivered the keynote address, highlighting the Mandir as a symbol of shared human values and the dedication of the Indian community to universal principles that unite humanity. He emphasized the UAE's commitment to religious diversity as a force for social cohesion and human fraternity, attributing this achievement to the principled leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The event coincided with the "Year of the Family," aligning with the evening's theme. Sheikh Nahyan praised the Indian community's contributions to the UAE's progress and described the Mandir as a symbol of enduring friendship between India and the UAE. He concluded by expressing hope for the Mandir's continued role in providing spiritual guidance and community support.

His Holiness Brahmavihari Swamiji, Head of BAPS Hindu Mandir, highlighted the Mandir's welcome to four million visitors in two years, affirming its message of harmony. The 'Mandir Dialogues' sessions showcased the Mandir's global impact and vision for the future, reaffirming its status as a symbol of harmony embraced by the UAE community.
