Singapore: Oil prices rose at the start of trading in Asian markets today, Tuesday. Brent crude futures increased by 30 cents, or 0.29%, reaching $104.51 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate crude rose by 31 cents, or 0.32%, to $98.38 as of 00:02 GMT. Both benchmarks had recorded an increase of about 2.8% in yesterday's session. According to Emirates News Agency, the increase in oil prices follows a trend observed in the previous session, where both Brent and West Texas Intermediate benchmarks marked a 2.8% rise. The steady climb in prices reflects ongoing dynamics in the global oil market as traders respond to various factors influencing supply and demand. The recent increases come amid a backdrop of fluctuating market conditions and geopolitical influences that have been impacting oil prices globally.
