President Mahmoud Abbas is scheduled to start an official visit to the Republic of Trkiye on Tuesday, during which he will meet with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Trkiye, Faed Mustafa, said that an official reception ceremony will be held for President Abbas at the Turkish Presidential Complex in the capital, Ankara. Mustafa stressed that the visit is of great importance at this stage of the Palestinian national cause, in light of the local, regional and international developments, the rise of Israeli attacks against our people, and the Israeli government’s failure to respect the agreements signed with the Palestinians. He pointed out that these developments will be on the agenda of the two leaders’ meeting, in addition to the various regional and international developments and their repercussions on our national cause.
