Russian President Vladimir Putin said that “the calls for the Palestinians to leave the Gaza Strip to Sinai is not something that can lead to peace,” stressing that “Gaza is part of the historic land of Palestine.”Putin said in a statement reported by Russia Today website regarding the calls for the forced displacement of Palestinians in Gaza by the Israeli occupation, ‘This is the land where Palestinians live, and it’s their land historically. An independent Palestinian state, Including Gaza, was supposed to be established. ‘In my opinion, this is not something that can lead to peace,” stressed Putin.
