Saif bin Zayed Leads Meeting on Advancing Ministry Projects


Abu dhabi: H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, chaired the Ministry of Interior’s Happiness and Positivity Council meeting at the Ministry’s headquarters. The meeting focused on reviewing various projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the institutional work system, with an emphasis on integrated preparedness across all sectors of the Ministry.



According to Emirates News Agency, the Council’s discussions included evaluating the results of key indicators and targets, as well as the strategic plans of the Ministry’s main sectors. Several projects were highlighted, designed to boost security, improve traffic safety, enhance community prevention, and contribute to overall societal well-being. These initiatives align with the Ministry’s mission to improve quality of life and foster a secure and positive environment for Emirati society, in accordance with the UAE’s visionary leadership.



A significant achievement discussed during the meeting was the UAE’s ranking among the top four countries globally in traffic safety indicators per 100,000 population. This accomplishment underscores the effectiveness of the country’s traffic policies and its comprehensive efforts to safeguard lives, strengthening the UAE’s position as a leader in road security and safety.



The meeting was attended by prominent figures, including Lt. General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai; Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior; and several other high-ranking officials and senior officers who are members of the Council.
