Israeli settlers today set up a tent at a water well in Masafer Yatta in the south of the occupied West Bank and assaulted residents and shepherds, and prevented them from reaching the well, according to Osama Makhamreh, active in the anti-settlement movement in southern Hebron. He told WAFA that a group of settlers, protected by the Israeli occupation forces, set up a tent near a water well owned by a resident of Tuba community in Masafer Yatta, and attacked people and herders and prevented them from reaching the well to feed their sheep.
