Abu Dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs, has reviewed the key achievements and plans of the ATLG Programme. The initiative, launched by the General Women’s Union and Maqta Gateway, part of AD Ports Group, aims to support Emiratisation efforts and develop UAE National talent in the digital trade and logistics sector.
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed was informed about the programme’s progress since its inception in 2020. The ATLG Programme has trained 415 participants and provided over 2,600 courses, accumulating 129,000 training hours. During his visit, His Highness also interacted with participants from the programme’s General and Kids tracks.
H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also examined detailed plans for the programme’s future. These plans include expansion into other GCC countries and the launch of the Youth Path. This new initiative will focus on equipping students in grades 10-12 with digital trade and logistics knowledge to help them build successful careers.
