Sultan bin Ahmed Witnesses MoUs Supporting Al Qawasim Platform

Sharjah: H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, witnessed the signing of several memoranda of understanding (MoUs) between Al Qawasim Digital Platform and key local entities. The MoUs were signed with the Department of Statistics and Community Development, the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Sharjah, and Al Qasimi Publications at the University of Sharjah.

According to Emirates News Agency, the agreements were signed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Statistics and Community Development; Major General Arif Mohammed Al Shamsi, Executive Director of the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Sharjah; Hassan Yaqoub Al Mansouri, Director General of the Office of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, on behalf of Al Qawasim Digital Platform; and Mohannad Bousaida, Director of Al Qasimi Publications.

The MoUs aim to support the Al Qawasim Digital Platform by expanding cooperation areas with entities related to content, publishing, and digital data. This initiative supports the platform's role as a specialised knowledge project dedicated to presenting history and genealogy through modern digital content.

The collaborating entities will enhance the platform's digital content and database, improve knowledge and research capabilities, and share expertise. They will work on developing data related to the platform, its technical infrastructure, and contribute to improving the quality and clarity of information provided to users.

The Department of Statistics and Community Development will focus on studying, analyzing, and updating data related to individuals and figures mentioned on the platform to enhance content quality and accuracy. The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs will support the platform's digital data and information efforts, while Al Qasimi Publications will provide scientific content and publishing support.

Cooperation will include exchanging information and technical reports, joint meetings, and supporting digital initiatives for platform development. These partnerships will integrate efforts to document the history and genealogy of the Al Qawasim family.

The partnerships aim to enhance the platform with institutional resources and expertise, developing its content and expanding its capability to provide organised and accurate information. This integration of publishing expertise with institutional data support will enhance content reliability and improve the experience of accessing information.
