Two Palestinians shot, injured with live ammunition in al-Bireh confrontations

Two Palestinians were shot and injured with live ammunition during confrontations that broke out this evening at the northern entrance to the city of al-Bireh, in Ramallah, said medical sources.

Sources told WAFA two youths were shot and injured with live fire in the thigh area during confrontations that broke out as Israeli forces attacked Palestinians who marched in condemnation of the Israeli aggression on Jenin. Their injuries were of moderate and critical severity.

Israeli forces also made an incursion into the nearby area of al-Balou, where they proceeded to chase after the youth who took to the streets to condemn the Israeli aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp, which has so far led to the killing of 10 people and the injury if hundreds of others. The aggression caused extensive destruction to infrastructure and residents” properties.

A youth was detained by the forces.
