Uae: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in discussions aimed at strengthening their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and reviewing regional developments during the Indian Prime Minister's official visit to the UAE. The focus was on enhancing cooperation under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the two nations.
According to Emirates News Agency, the leaders expressed a shared commitment to advancing their development partnership, aiming to expand cooperation in areas that foster enduring prosperity for both countries. They highlighted advancements across sectors such as the economy, investment, energy, space, food security, technology, and artificial intelligence, aligning with their development priorities.
The discussions extended to exchanging views on mutual interests, particularly concerning Middle Eastern developments and their potential effects on regional and international peace and security. The leaders also addressed issues related to maritime security, energy supplies, and the global economy. Prime Minister Modi condemned the Iranian terrorist attacks on the UAE, emphasizing that such acts violate sovereignty and international norms.
The meeting witnessed the presence of several key UAE figures, including H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, among others. Accompanying Prime Minister Modi was a delegation of Indian ministers and officials.
