Abu dhabi: The UAE Council for Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain has introduced the third edition of the UAE AI Award, aiming to promote excellence and innovation in the adoption of Agentic AI. This initiative recognizes entities and individuals utilizing these technologies to transform government performance, enhance services, and improve community wellbeing.
According to Emirates News Agency, the third edition of the Award aligns with the UAE's vision to establish Agentic AI as a strategic partner in shaping the future of government. It supports the next phase of government transformation, integrating Agentic AI across 50% of government sectors, services, and operations to enhance productivity, efficiency, and create new models of government delivery, while strengthening readiness and long-term sustainability.
Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, emphasized the UAE Government's comprehensive approach to accelerating technological transformation by expanding Agentic AI use across government and society. He noted the shift towards a new operating model where Agentic AI collaborates with people to empower national talent, enhance service delivery, and drive innovation.
Al Olama further stated that the Award reinforces the UAE's national movement to adopt Agentic AI across government, bolstering the country's position as a global leader in developing and deploying advanced technologies. The third edition sets a new national benchmark for excellence in Agentic AI by celebrating pioneering initiatives that transform AI into a partner capable of delivering measurable impacts across government services and operations, thus enhancing government performance and strengthening the UAE's global competitiveness.
The UAE AI Award advances national standards of excellence in artificial intelligence, focusing on Agentic AI through five main categories. These include Excellence in Agentic AI-Powered Services, highlighting successful leveraging of Agentic AI to enhance services, improve operational efficiency, and elevate customer experience. The Agentic AI Solutions Developed in the UAE category showcases innovative solutions developed within the country, demonstrating advanced national capabilities in AI technology design and development.
The Award also includes the Best Government-Private Partnership in Agentic AI category, recognizing successful collaborations delivering innovative solutions supporting digital transformation. The Agentic AI Scientific Research category honors pioneering research advancing both knowledge and practical applications in this field, while the AI Leader category celebrates individuals driving innovative AI solution adoption, fostering an AI-enabled culture, building capabilities, and delivering transformational outcomes within their organizations.
