MOSCOW: Two innovative projects from the United Arab Emirates have received international recognition at the BRICS Solutions Awards, emphasizing the country's dedication to advancing solutions in logistics and agriculture. According to Emirates News Agency, iFarm, an indoor farming system, and LogisEye Solutions FZCO, a digital logistics procurement platform, were awarded for their significant contributions to their respective sectors. These projects were selected from a competitive pool of entries, highlighting the UAE's commitment to addressing global challenges through innovation. The BRICS Solutions Award was bestowed upon iFarm for its approach to sustainable agriculture. LogisEye Solutions FZCO was honored for its project in digital transformation. Both projects were celebrated during the BRICS-2024 Business Forum in Moscow, where they faced competition from finalists across the BRICS+ nations. The BRICS Solutions Awards are organized by the BRICS+ League of Foundations, the Agency for Strategic Init iatives (ASI), and the Melnichenko Foundation. The awards aim to acknowledge outstanding solutions across industries that focus on sustainable development and digitization. Tatyana Zhuravleva, head of the Melnichenko Foundation and founder of the BRICS+ League of Foundations, highlighted the significance of innovation at the awards ceremony.
