Three Palestinians were fatally shot and nine others were shot and injured during confrontations that erupted tonight near the Qalandia military checkpoint, north of Jerusalem. In addition, a youth was shot dead during confrontations in Hebron city, according to the Ministry of Health.The ministry, in a brief statement, said three Palestinians were brought dead to the Palestinian Medical Complex in Ramallah, in addition to nine others who sustained injuries by Israeli forces’ live fire.Local sources said that confrontations broke out near the said checkpoint, during which forces opened fire directly at the youths, shooting and injuring three and injuring eight others.A fourth youth, who was identified as Mohammed Abdel-Rahman Zghayyar, was fatally shot by Israeli occupation forces during confrontations that erupted in Hebron city, in the northern occupied West Bank.Local sources said that Israeli soldiers prevented the youth’s access to his family home in Hebron city and opened fire directly at him, injur
ing him critically.The youth was critically shot in the chest by live ammunition and transferred to hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after.
