According to Wam, the 2026 edition, under the theme 'Where the World's Art Comes Together,' will emphasize a stronger gallery presence and enhanced curatorial direction. The event aims to help attendees transition from art discovery to collecting, featuring paintings, sculptures, photography, mixed media, digital art, installations, and more.

They will guide the display of artworks, bringing varied perspectives to the selection and arrangement, enhancing visitors' exploration of diverse artistic practices.

Asma Al Sharif, Assistant Vice President at Exhibitions, Dubai World Trade Centre, highlighted the event's growth as a global meeting point for artists, galleries, and art enthusiasts. She noted the 28 percent increase in artwork sales last year and expressed the intention to build on this momentum by offering a wider array of artistic perspectives.

Photography will have a distinct presence through PhotoWAD, while the Emerging Artist Prize will provide a platform for new talent. The fair will also include workshops, talks, performances, and other interactive experiences, with more than 20 workshops available to ticket holders.

A special Emirati Artists Pavilion will showcase Emirati talent, while the Artist in Residence Programme will offer artists opportunities beyond the exhibition, connecting them with Dubai hotels for creative collaborations.

Overall, World Art Dubai aims to support Dubai's cultural and creative economy by linking artistic practice with audiences, buyers, and professional opportunities.
