Twenty-five people were injured after a ship tipped over at an Edinburgh dockyard, local media reported on Wednesday. Emergency services were called to Imperial Dock in Edinburgh following reports that a ship partially toppled over. Fifteen people were taken to hospital and 10 people were treated at the scene of the incident at the dock, according to multiple media reports, citing the Scottish Ambulance Service. Following the incident, local health authorities advised people to not attend the accidents and emergency services of Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh due to the pressure on its services. The Sailors’ Society, which is an international maritime charity supporting seafarers and their families, announced their support for those in need.
