265 new coronavirus cases, 8 fatalities, registered in Syria

265 new coronavirus cases, 93 recoveries, and 8 fatalities were registered in Syria on Tuesday, according to the Health Ministry.

 

“The total number of infections detected in the country till now has reached up to 43,931, of which 26,561 have recovered, while the deaths have amounted to 2,584”, the Ministry said in a statement to SANA.

 

The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22nd in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was reported on the 29th of the same month.
