The Greening Education Hub – Legacy from the Land of Zayed, welcomed 384 students from 12 schools from all over the country.

The hub organised interactive activities designed to increase students’ environmental awareness while fostering a sense of responsibility towards the environment. These activities combined fun and education to achieve their goals.

The interactive platforms showcasing the UAE’s environmental diversity garnered a notable response from students, particularly the ‘Estidama Craft’ game (sustainability craft), inspired by the country’s natural and biological diversity. Additionally, a dedicated room, created in collaboration with the SEE Institute, offered educational content on climate issues.

The schools that organised visits to the Greening Education Hub are Fairgreen Internationl School, Good Will Children School, Arbor School, Dwight School, Halima Alsaadeya School, Al Dhabianiah School, Al Fateh School, Abdulrahman Nasser Intermediate School, Raffles International School, Al Mabade
School, and Zayed Compley Al-warqqa.

By the end of the sixth day of COP28, the Greening Education Hub had welcomed approximately 4000 visitors. The Hub is set to continue its operations until the conclusion of COP28 activities on December 12th.
