Four people died of severe burns after a fire erupted early Tuesday in an apartment in Nuzha area, east Amman, according to a Public Security Directorate (PSD) spokesman. Firefighters and paramedics from the Central Amman Civil Defence Department rushed to the scene, put out the blaze, and evacuated the bodies to the Prince Hamza Hospital, the spokesman said. “An investigation is currently underway to determine the causes of the fire,” the spokesman added.
