402 new coronavirus infections, 21 deaths recorded in Syria

402 new coronavirus infections, 80 recoveries and 21 deaths were reported in Syria on Monday, according to the Health Ministry.

 

Meanwhile, the total number of the coronavirus cases recorded in Syria has reached up to 39,488 till now, while the recoveries have amounted to 25,095, and the deaths have climbed to 2,429.

 

The first coronavirus case was detected in Syria on March 22nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was recorded on the 29th of the same month.
