44 new Covid-19 cases, 4 fatalities reported in Syria

44 new coronavirus cases, 120 recoveries and 4 deaths were reported in Syria, Health Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

 

The Ministry added that the total infections registered in the country till now has reached up to 50,051 of which 31,791 have recovered while 2,871 have passed away.

 

The first coronavirus case was detected in Syria on March 22nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was reported on the 29th of the same month.
