Activities of the 4th Conference of Syrian Researchers in the Homeland and abroad for 2022, organized by the Higher Commission for Scientific Research in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, the Syrian Virtual University and the Arab School of Science and Technology, continued for the second day at al-Assad National Library in Damascus under the motto “Towards Economy of knowledge , the Role of Syrian Researchers in Homeland and abroad.

Participants in the conference addressed a set of studies and researches on the latest uses of biotechnology and nanotechnology in the medical, environmental and agricultural fields, and the most prominent challenges facing their application.

Ibrahim al-Gharibi, a researcher in nanoscience and technology, pointed out to the necessity for to benefiting from the applications of nanotechnology and artificial intelligence in the medical field and solar cells, indicating the importance of the conference in exchanging experiences between researchers at home and abroad, cooperating with international experts, and contributing to attracting Syrian expertise working in the field nanotechnology and its use.
