4th World Youth Forum to be launched in Sharm on Jan.10

The World Youth Forum will re-convene in Sharm el Sheikh resort town in its fourth edition on January 10-13 under the sponsorship of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, said Executive Director of the National Training Academy Dr Rasha Ragheb on Monday.

 

For her part, Spokeswoman for the forum Sara Badr said at a press conference at the NTA’s premises that the forum will be held after a one year-hiatus due to Covid-19 crisis.

 

Badr added the former three versions of the forum made great sucesses.

 

The forum is a global annual event. Its first round was held in 2017. The forun aims at forwarding a message of peace, prosperity and development to the world at large.

 

Spokeswoman for the World Youth Forum Sara Badr confirmed that it will take up the Covid-19 pandemic during its fouth edition.

 

The forum’s sessions will tackle several topics including energy, the role of international institutions in facing coronavirus crisis and digital transformation in post-Covid world, added Badr at the press conference, held to announce the launch of the forum.

 

She said the State’s bodies have devised an action plan to ensure the application of all prcautionary measures at the forum.

 

All participants must get Covid vaccine and follow preventive steps at the forum, according to her.

 

The participants will be checked on a daily basis as a precuationay measure to protect against Covid-19, added Badr.
