Amman, Jordan – The Foreign Ministry of Jordan announced the safe return of 53 Jordanian citizens previously evacuated from Gaza. According to the official spokesman of the ministry, Sufyan Qudah, these individuals were initially moved from Gaza to Egypt through the Rafah crossing and then travelled to Jordan. They arrived at the port of Aqaba on a vessel operated by the Arab Bridge Navigation Company, a journey coordinated with the Ministry of Transport.

According to Jordan News Agency, The ship carrying the evacuees arrived from Nuweiba, Egypt. Qudah noted that the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority provided essential assistance and medical care to the returnees upon their arrival. He also mentioned that the total number of Jordanians evacuated from Gaza to Egypt via the Rafah crossing has reached 424, out of 759 registered on the ministry’s lists for evacuation.
