Syria recorded on Thursday 78 new coronavirus cases, 190 recoveries and 3 deaths, Health Ministry said in a statement.

The statement added that the overall number of infections registered in the country has reached up to 54,822, of which 47,715 have recovered, while 3,085 have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was registered in Syria on March 22nd, while the first fatality was on 29th of the same month.
