With participation of Syria, WSDC 2021 kicks off

Damascus- With Syria’s participation, the competition of World Schools Debating Championships (WSDC 2021), organized remotely in the Chinese city of Macau for secondary school students were launched on Sunday with the participation of 74 states.

 

Distinction and Creativity Agency said in a statement that the Syrian team participating in this competition that will last till August 5th, consists of 4 members whose names are Shaza Ahmad Kazbary ,Aan Mary Nabil al-Jarash ,Amal Abdulrahman Jallad and Aya Mohammed Saqr.

 

The Agency clarified that this is the third participation for Syria in this world competition and it comes within the Agency’s plan to spread the culture of debates and dialogue in the Syrian community and among its youth to show their real capabilities in dialogue and persuasion.

 

The debates are held in English and divided into two stages ,the first one is being held between July 25th and 30th ,with the final to be conducted between August 1st and 5th ,2021.
